Art Guidelines

IN ORDER TO BETTER SERVE YOU…

Please follow the guidelines below to help us provide you the best possible service and products. If you have questions regarding your file formats, please contact us and we will be happy to help you.

Vector Art:
We accept and can work with many different file formats of vector art, this is a scalable file type that works well in small and large applications. Acceptable vector file formats are:

  • Encapsulated Postscript (.eps)
  • Adobe Acrobat PDF (.pdf)
  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
  • CorelDraw (.cdr)

Raster Art:
Raster or Bitmap files not recommended. They are pixel-based and often appear jagged-edged. This file format does not scale well and is only suitable for smaller applications.

  • Adobe Photoshop (.psd): Do not flatten images. Please supply the layered file.
  • Tagged Image File (.tif): 600 dpi at 1/2 size of final artwork is reccomended.
  • JPEG (.jpg): 600 dpi at 1/2 size of final artwork is reccomended.

Artwork that is not reccomended:

  • Raster files in the following formats: .gif, .wmf, .bmp
  • Programs: Paint, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint

We are a PC based business and require files submitted to us to be PC compatible.

All color is direct-to-print from your files unless otherwise noted. CMYK and RGB colors can have different results in different output situations. If you need a color-match, please use the Pantone Matching System (PMS) and assign a PMS number to each color that needs matched.
